Steel that holds the schedule

One contractor from shop drawing to final bolt-up. We detail it, weld it, truck it and stand it up — so there is nobody left to point at when the crane is booked.

Sec C — Capabilities

What we build

Structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial, industrial and infrastructure work — handled in one shop, by one crew, under one contract.

All nine services

C-01

Steel detailing

3D models and shop drawings in Tekla, issued for approval with connection design stamped by our engineer of record.

C-02

Shop fabrication

22,000 sq ft under two 10-ton cranes. Beam line, plasma table, and CWB-certified welders on every station.

C-03

Steel erection

Our own crews and rigging. One contractor holds the schedule from first anchor bolt to final torque check.

Sec D — Accountability

One number to call when the steel is late

Split a steel package between a detailer, a fabricator and an erector and you buy yourself three sets of excuses. We carry all three, so the schedule sits with us.

Every job gets a named project manager, a piece-mark-level fabrication tracker you can see, and a superintendent who was in the shop when the steel was welded. If a beam shows up wrong, the person who fixes it already knows the drawing.

How we work

Certification & coverage

  • CWB W47.1 Div. 2
  • CSA W59 welding
  • TSSA registered
  • WSIB clearance
  • $5M general liability
  • Working-at-heights certified
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Tekla Structures detailing

Certificates, insurance and safety statistics are issued with every bid package. Ask and we will send the current set before you award.

Sec E — Sequence

Drawing to bolt-up

Steel is a sequence: nothing downstream can start early. These are the five stages every job runs through, and what you get at the end of each.

Take-off & quote

We price from your architectural and structural set, list every assumption in writing, and flag the details that will cost you money later.

Detailing

Tekla model, connection design, and shop drawings for approval. Clashes get found on screen, not on the crane pick.

Fabrication

Cut, drill, fit and weld to CSA W59, with mill certs and weld records filed against each piece mark.

Delivery

Loads sequenced to the erection plan, so the first pick off the truck is the first piece you need.

Erection & sign-off

Bolted up, plumbed, surveyed and turned over with as-builts and inspection reports in one package.

Sec F — Capacity

What the shop can take on

The numbers a general contractor actually needs before deciding whether to send us a set.

Shop floor

22,000 sq ft

Two ten-ton overhead cranes, a beam line, a plasma table and a paint bay under one roof.

Assembly

45 m spans

Trusses and long-span members shop-assembled, then shipped in sections sized to your access route.

Radius

Two hours

Southern Ontario, with our own crews and rigging rather than a subcontracted erector.

Turnaround

Two days

Take-offs come back inside two business days of a complete drawing set.

Send us the drawings

Take-offs come back within two business days. Budget pricing from a sketch, firm pricing from an IFC set.
